The game (King’s Choice) is actually really good, but has some absolutely garbage ~~play~~ pay to win mechanics, which is why I stopped playing.
But there’s nothing even remotely close to what’s depicted in this ad. I’m pretty sure ad companies are provided with nothing more than name of the game and maybe some concept art when they are commissioned to do these videos.
Corridor Crew did an amazing video where they looked at the logic (or lack there of) of mobile game ads and made their own: https://youtu.be/73hySQV_T8o
I can’t help but think most of the animations used in these ads are just student assignments where they didn’t really give a shit about the content because it was mostly just a technical thing, so they come up with these really insane animations that have no context which they then just sell to whoever wants them. Which ends up just being mobile game marketing teams and bowling alleys.
Imagine having the ambition to create great casual game ideas or good cinematics but then just being an absolute piece of shit and not making an actual product.
If they put that effort into their shitty clickbait games they’d actually make some money.
Pretty sure those adds are like that because it enables to filter out people that are not the target (people easily annoyed, therefore not willing to spend money to retry failed levels or other p2w strategies).
On the other hand if someone is still interested in a game after false advertisement then I guess there is a big potential that he will be also willing to oay some money as he wont be easily disappointed
I like how the advertisements I see now are people claiming to be mobile game testers who test to see if the game you get is the game they advertised and they have this super fake commentary as they pretend to play whatever animated sequence that’s never available or even slightly resembles the actual cash grab of a game you’d get if you downloaded it.
“This one time…. i punted an infant through a field goal. Minos begged me not to on his knees, like a bitch. “Oh gabriel, thy gore shall-” what the fuck ever
KICK THE BABY!!!!
Okay, this one was actually kinda funny
If they evolve to the point that the ad is even remotely representative of the game I might actually watch them
This is the proper technique if someone throws a baby at you. 🤣🤣🤣
[removed]
This brought me a good chuckle.
Was NOT ready for this. Thanks to you i cleared my sinus
Reminded me of bad day LA
Somehow reminds me of the taiwanese(?) youtube videos that would summarize american/world news with bizarre cg
When u think u are Leo Messy
She rescued that baby just a little too fiercely

Impulsive thoughts win again today.

IT WAS THE WILL… OF GOD
I recently saw this mobile ad that was legit Biomutant gameplay and so I thought that game came to mobile.
Nope, at the very end it showed the game’s name and it was some anime princess game or something lmao.
Has anyone else seen the mobile ad for Murder By Choice?
There’s a scene in the ad that pans past all of the suspects.
Except two of them don’t have a head!
If I can catch a screen shot, I’ll update,\.
Truly an EGOIST from Blue Lock
u/dannygregzalez
he must see this
NGL, that’s a good kick technique. Power, control, straight into the king’s hands. 10/10, Ronaldo would’ve been jelly

Blue Lock has gotten really weird this season…
That is a very solid baby
She got downvotes at the end
Why the fuck is he throwing babies around?
It’s a good thing mobile games are nothing like their ads, if they were I’d be playing too many of them.
I wish I could sue for false advertising all of these shitty mobile games…
Considering it’s basically common practice at this point, there’d be shit tone of money to be made lol
r/childfree gunna love this game
The Liu Bei approach.
What game is this? I wanna play it now..

She must play Street Fighter, because that kick was down right fierce.
Where do I sign up for Baby Launcher 2023: Medieval FIFA Edition?
Later that day, in court:
Lady: “Officer, I drop kicked that child in *self defense.* You gotta believe me.”

At least this one is hilarious
I hate those ads. Download it thinking it’ll be a fun game, only to be another bejeweled type matching game.
Yeet the baby
I would play this game
Thing is that game looks great, shame it’s probably just some shit pay to win RTS

You kicked ma babey, you kicked ma fucking babey!

When you have over 10 million power you can kick babies and get away with it.
This kind of content is the reason I pay for the internet
Not really, the commercial trailers definitely are but the actual game is guaranteed to be something completely different
Ads are getting better and the games are getting worse
Kick the baby simulator looks promising
I’m waiting for a proper gaming company to steal all these ideas from ads and make them into real games.
