Mindustry does a great job bridging the gap between automation and tower defense. It has a simple art style that differentiates itself from other games that come out nowadays which is great but it does come with a few cons. Some of them being can be hard to differentiate certain items like routers and mergers or to quickly tell what part of land is mineable or not. Other than those things the game is fantastic and is also free to play on itch.io or you can pay for it on steam. The game does have pvp and multiplayer which are both cross platform from itchio and steam and even mobile iirc. If you enjoyed the video please let me know! Or drop a like and sub!
