  • Since it’s not mentioned in the video, DO NOT TOUCH THE INSIDE ELECTRONICS OF A MICROWAVE. The transformer ups the voltage to thousands of volts, creating a particularly deadly shock for humans. Even unplugged, there are large capacitors that can maintain a charge and still be deadly.

    This is what has led to countless deaths of people attempting fractal wood burning, where most guides involve a microwave transformer. Incredibly deadly stuff, if you make just a single mistake, it’s all over.

  • “They can actually vibrate two thousand million times per second!” Remember the 80s when the word “billion” was obscure and no one would understand it? Imagine if people said “this computer has 500 thousand megabytes of storage!”
