MJ’s dancing with just on another level, even to the ones he shares all the same genes with.
It’s next level. So fn good.
It is a really bad idea to show off your robot when Jackson is on stage with you.
The craziest part is the very beginning when he glides out. Looks like he’s on ice.
Who taught him all the moves???
That shit became the Michael Jackson show
MJ’s an incredible dancer!
And WTF, is Cher 85 pounds here? She looks skinnier than Michael.
I’m convinced that Michael Jackson had a genetic resistance to gravity and friction that no other human has ever had 🙂
I’ve watched this so many times now. The foot work is awesome
I wasn’t a fan of Michael Jackson, but he could certainly move.
Even the attention to detail, with the slight arm shakes, when he was lining up with his brother right behind him. You didn’t see that on anybody else.
Good lord, she was thin.
Cher looks like cocaine. Also, did someone take a hedge trimmer to the top half of her ‘fro?
He must of had baby oil on the bottom of those shoes
This was almost a half a century ago…I suddenly feel old.
People back then all look so thin
I’m a guy who doesn’t care to watch dancing at all. All of the dancing and choreography done by pop stars and boy bands doesn’t interest me in the slightest. Yet I’ve always loved watching Michael dance.
He truly was different
His moves after the spinning look traight out of a cartoon, they’re so fast! Absolut unreal moves!
MJ always had amazing talent.
Cut too soon( Where’s the rest?!
Cher is rocking too!! Im impressed had no clue
Greatest robot ever!
Love how he has to tone it down when Tito, et al, join in.
One of those documentaries about MJ he was sitting on the floor talking about something and did a little move with his hand and head. I barely remember context but I do remember thinking he’s the most talented person on the planet and it’s not even close. It was just so precise.
Holy crap thanks for the source!
I thought this was a clip from Soul Train for some reason (the GIF meme version without sound)
Ngl, it’s kinda scary seeing him move like that. I jest, but it’s crazy how skilled he was at moving
a pair o’ legends
This was at a low point of both of their lives: Cher was divorcing Sonny, the Jackson 5 were in decline, and both MJ and Cher were struggling to find a path forward as a solo artist. Both were considered past their artistic prime.
They both had amazing futures ahead that would dwarf the success they each had up to this point–as evidenced by the raw talent we can all see on this clip.
I believe technically it’s the Jackson 5 and Cher doing the robot on Cher’s show 1975
WTF! After this awesome, but too short clip, I have spent the last 2 hours watching the Sher Show which aired around the time I was born. What a trippy but super interesting view of music, especially, songs you might know, redone by Sher. I never liked her because the only song I really knew her for was a few songs from the 80’s and that Believe song with the first obvious use of autotune…
Watching a bunch of these old videos has really allowed me to reevaluate her and her place in music (Not that anyone gives a s### about my thoughts).
What is Cher doing?
If I could show distant aliens one video that best encapsulates humanity, I’d choose this.
Damn Cher almost disappeared when she turned😵💫😵💫😵💫.
Amazing 😊
Damn this man was extremely talented.
Do you believe in life after love – robot voice. The evidence is clear. Cher is a robot.
He’s just NOT cut for a background dancer
M.J. was sporting “peak fro” in 1975.
