Edit: can someone tell me what accent this guy has?
Although it may look like a fluke, players practice this style of goal known as a ‘[dribble kick](https://youtu.be/m48zctz_0rE?t=48)’. also important to note, as said in the breakdown video, if the ball hits the post and goes through its 1 point in stead of 6
Unfortunately for Gibbons, the goal wasnt selected as a finalist for AFLs Goal of the Year. [Do you think it was better than these 3?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcC6CoaXWSk)
This game makes ZERO sense. Guy in the beginning of the play steps out AND KEEPS THE BALL. WTF are you guys doing down there??? This is sheer nonsense!
So can anyone honestly say how much of this was skill and how much was luck? How can you predict the bounce pattern of an oblong ball after its second or third bounce? Are there multiple attempts at a play like this in every game and do most of them not go in?
I’ve been following AFL for two years now and this is the nicest goal I’ve ever seen! This sport rules and match replays are free on the AFL app in Canada. Excellent sport to watch and the season lines up kind of nicely with the NFL offseason.
As an American who lives in the eastern time zone, how can I watch more Aussie Rules Football? I understand that it’s on at like 3am my time but I used to catch it from time to time. Is there a streaming service or website that carries it? Or maybe some less-than-legal means I can get it? 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️

Confession time: I am 44 years old and just learning ARF exists. Then find out it’s been around since 1859.
Looks pretty cool though.
Wow before the final playback I thought he just effortlessly dribbled it in with his hand.

Sorry for a noobish question. What is the use of the boundary lines if the player and the ball can still cross it and still be in the play?
Edit: Referring to #41
Damn, every time I dribble in my pocket I have to get changed.
Holy shit, someone with the same name as me 🙃
What sport is this
Awesome. Is Australian Rules Football the one where the refs wear dapper suits and shoot finger guns when a goal is scored?
Why did they delist this guy?!
I’m beggining to think I should get into Aussie rules.
Didn’t realise it was *this* huge
Mark this NSFW already FFS. Too erotic for pre-watershed

I’d like NFL better if it involves skill like this.
I fucking love Aussie Rules. It’s absolute nonsense, and looks like the most fun you can have playing a sport.
They wanna see me dribble dribble.. for sure
interesting that its a legal kick even with the ball touching out of bounds.
I don’t understand Rugby, but even I know that was fucking awesome.
Nice one!
I would watch this over soccer any day
What a touch.
I’m loving it
What the shit game is this? Bro is kicking It and holding it and taking it out but still carrying on?

I don’t know much about this sport but that was pretty cool!
I love it when rugby or cricket highlights are posted here. I have no idea what’s happening but I’m slowly learning the rules
Everytime I see an Aussie Rules clip I’m baffled by how big the pitch is. Out of curiousity is it something that developed from cricket grounds?
AFL .
& No wasn’t out of bounds lol.
America also has a AFL league but its not really known about much
What sport is this? This doesnt looks like rugby.
That bottom left mc donalds add has to be the best timed add ever
