[Eskamo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vV6ZQT4F-s) still stands as one of the funniest song premises Ive come across. Some dude has multiple run-ins with an Inuit rude boy and it culminates in a mexican standoff in Alaska.
Goofy but with extremely memorable instrumentation that shifts mood and tone multiple times.
I saw them at the VFW in Cheyenne Wyoming around 1995, and it’s still one of the strangest shows I’ve ever seen. First, the singer was the only non-white person in the venue and he was on stage tearing it up singing about evil and satan while a few regulars sat in the back glaring. WW2 vets in Wyoming 30 years ago had a very low tolerance for coastal nonsense. Second, most of the crowd came from Denver and Fort Collins but a strange continent of actual skinheads decided they wanted to shit all over everything. it didn’t last long though because some random hicks I’d never seen played enforcer for the first few songs and shut down the assholes. Third, )legend has it) the show was produced by this teenage from Cheyenne who’d book shows and the bands usually stayed with his family. I remember Less Than Jake talking about how his mom’s food was really good and they played on his trampoline before the show.
I saw them like 4 times because they were the only band Streetlight Manifesto toured with for so long and this band is big snore after the first time you see them.
My cousin introduced me to Mephiskapheles by letting me listen to their CD on a family vacation. He legitimately thought it was pronounced “Mephiska-fellas”. I was like.. nah, bro, I’m 11 and even I know it’s a reference to Mephistopheles.
Bad bot. They are still an active band!
Such an underrated band. God bless Satan is such an eclectic mix of ska, punk, doom, and 40’s Era jazz.
Saw them in 97 in Detroit and I still look fondly back at that show.
The nubian nightmare is hilarious too
The bumble bee tuna song has been stuck in my head for 20 years
RCKCNDY, Seattle 1997. Skankin’ away <3

I love bumblebee tuna!
I feel like I’m back in high school.
I remember going to see them in Hartford in… ’99 I think. I believe Sgt. Scagnetti….. WHO ARE STILL AROUND?! WTF?… opened for them
Saw them with Blue Meanies and Mustard Plug in Chicago… such an incredible band…

Someone said “Ska is the music that plays in a 12 year olds head when they get more mozzarella sticks” lmao
This song was on every single ska compilation album and ska mixtape ever made.
One of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. I saw them as late as 2016 and they were still amazingly energetic.

Oh shit I’ve never heard this band. This is awesome!
To catch a glimpse…some say “please”
Anyone else know this song from “Ska: The Third Wave Volume 1” compilation cd??
Ska is just Jazz you can mosh to.
This might be the best thing I’ve ever seen
I slipped the DJ at my high school graduation party a CD with saba on it and asked him to play and he rejected it, still bummed about that.
