>From the comedic mind of Tina Fey comes a new twist on the modern classic, MEAN GIRLS. Edit* Apparently this is a musical. Other than one or two split second long scenes of some choreography, there’s pretty much no way of knowing.

I haven’t watch the musical broadway but I think this will be closer to that.

Terrible trailer for a musical. Letting people actually know it’s a musical would surely be better than whatever this is
I didn’t realize the musical version was even going to be a film. I thought it was for the stage.
I feel like this trailer really failed to establish that this is an adaptation of the musical.
If I hadn’t known that this was an adaptation of the stage musical adaptation of the original Mean Girls, this trailer does not make that clear. It just looks like a remake with some modernization and some anachronisms. In other words: It’s so not fetch.

There are so many WTF’s here. 1. This is a musical!??!?! 2. It seems literally identical to the original, but with some updated jokes 3. Tina Fey, you surely have other ideas 4. This is a musical!?!
