Ah man, the iMac G3 was my jam! Our school had a whole lab full of them, and I always thought they looked so cool. Years later I inherited a PowerMac G3 from my grandmother, and learned the hard way that computer age worse than milk.
It would have been more hilarious if the game you were playing Leisure Suit Larry.

I remember playing Nanosaur and Bugdom on those iMacs.
My computer lab in middle school upgraded to these computers. They were slow and crashed a lot. Plus the hockey puck mouse was uncomfortable and dirt built up on the rollers fast. One time the mouse was getting tough to use so I started picking the dirt off and got detention for “damaging school property.”

Sorry, but this is definitely not the first iMac. They were in only one color: Bondi Blue. when they turned out to be successful, they they opened up to the other colors.
