  • Interesting that the name “Rey” is changed from one beginning with a normal r sound in English, ɹ, to one beginning with a flap in eastern European languages, and something like an l in east Asian languages.

    This is like a survey of which languages do and do not contain the English r sound, along with their closest sounding counterparts
