I’m a big fan of Portman but there’s something she’s doing here, I think with her voice, that’s throwing me off. Still happy to check it out, Haynes usually delivers something good. I loved his VU doc as well.
It’s so odd seeing the reviews from critics describing this movie as funny. The trailer is so serious but I guess that’s the point is for it to be melodramatic.
Apparently Netflix blocked this video in my country, does anyone face similar issue?
I love the 2 leads but this just reminds me of a bit from [30 Rock](https://youtu.be/qoI4LacOER0?si=y68z_DnLe5Yg5–3)
Watched from Fandango’s Youtube since that one isn’t region-locked
Wow from descriptions from Cannes I thought it was more of a romance or campy movie, did not realized it would go this dark this fast
Todd Haynes back with another movie is great, and Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, and even Charles Melton are getting tons of awards buzz this season

Why are these assholes region-locking the trailer?
Utterly baffling.
Looking forward to this. Todd Haynes is a great director.
Black Swan 2: Sex
This movie looks a hot mess and I mean that in a good way.
Loved Velvet Goldmine, none of his other films hit that high for me, and this looks closer than he’s gotten in a while. Looking forward to it
