Back in the early 90s, I was pumping gas and a kid next to me hopped out of car and was singing a Marvin Gaye song. He turned to me and said Marvin Gaye is the shit. I agreed and said too bad he passed, he was a great singer. The kid was surprised and said he died? I said he was killed several years ago. The kid who killed him? I told him his dad shot him, Marvin would not get off drugs so his dad took him out. The kid was devastated.
