Loved S1.
Very ambitious show! Went places that the typical MCU won’t.
loved S1. here’s to hoping disney doesn’t fuck it up. Low expectations and hoping i am wrong
I’m so hyped for this
When you read that budget for Secret Invasion was around two hundred million and you see the result, you are left wondering, “Where did the money went?”
When you read that Loki S2 had a similar budget and you see this trailer, you have no question where the money went. Those sets, the special effects, the camera work, this show looks expensive. And it more importantly, looks like it was done by someone who didn’t wing it and left to the VFX department to cover up all their flaws.
IMHO, Loki is the only MCU show so far that looks like they put every cent into their series rather than fudge the numbers to pocket some cash. Yes, Wanda started off looking nice with the different television takes but by the end it was….okay. Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Eh. Nothing visually exciting. Hawkeye. It was fun but, again, nothing you haven’t seen visually a million times before. She-Hulk. Same. Moonknight….it was average. Ms. Marvel tried to do something different but ended up the same. No, Loki is the only one that was visually interesting throughout the series. And this new season looks like they are keeping up this trend.
I enjoyed Season 1 but my God was it a slow burn.
Neat. Dude from The Good Place is back.

Everyone of these shows follows the same structure. he won’t encounter the real villain until the penultimate episode. The villain will seem invincible, then he will defeat him in the finale.
So they are keeping Majors in…interesting. Pretty sure the case against him is quite damning.

The superhero movie fatigue is real here, oof.
Endgame just gave the whole universe such a wonderful sense of finality. It was long, but there was payoff, and now it’s over. Everything else afterwards just feels like loose ends or uninteresting power scaling.
Disney promoting a (alleged) woman beater and everyone eating it up.
Looks like the same mid tier content. If the writers were as talented as the trailer editors these shows would be great.
Edit: Nice downvotes, good to see marvel zombies care more about mid tier TV than someone beating someone (allegedly.) pretty disgusting.
I like Loki, it’s like a mix of Doctor Who & the MCU. I feel like the other series, except Wandavision, are more like movies stretched thin into a short tv show.
Sometimes I feel like the only person who the world who thinks Loki season 1 was underwhelming. Especially the finale that was just an information dump followed by a final fight that was as by the numbers and inconsequential as it gets.
I wonder if they’ll attempt to tie this in with Deadpool 3 in any way, since that movie supposedly has a lot to do with the TVA.

I was all in last season, thinking it was going to be this odd couple buddy cop series with Loki and Woooooooooow, but wooo did it turn out to not be that. Be interesting to see what the ratings do this season after repeated marvel duds since.

I liked season 1 but I really hope they have better fight choreography in this one. The action scenes in the last season were god awful

I think Loki makes for a great protagonist, though I’m a sucker for former pieces of shit trying to do better but sometimes falling back into their old ways.
So excited for this. It is the first thing I have been excited from Marvel for like 5 years or something.
I know I sound like a toddler but I wish they dropped all eps at once. Just makes for better viewing.

The new Sylvie haircut is a death knell I’m telling you.
It is 100% the Felicity effect, and it’s going to happen with this.
Nobody’s going to acknowledge it or even realize it, but that haircut is going to make people enjoy the show less and they won’t understand why.
I watched season 1. I could not care less about this. I have come to hate the mulit-verse writing trope. Disney has burned through all their goodwill. Maybe I’ll check back in a couple years. Mando had such promise and they ruined it. Here’s hoping they MAKE Andor season 2 AND don’t fuck it up. Its the only thing I have any hope left for.
