I hope it’s huge but I’m kind of afraid that the switch can’t handle what I’m hoping for just don’t want to stand in the middle of one biome and be able to see into the next biome
Well if this is really going to be the first fully open world for the series, it makes sense to have the region expansive and have lots of different environments to explore. So excited.
Look at this, then look at ARK Survival: Evolve’s map “The Island” , If you would make Mt. Gelmir not desert-like and make Crumbling Farum Azula a mountain then it would literally be nearly 1:1 in the terms of strucuture

Rofl actually love all the people trying to justify ER level scaling while downplaying scarlet/violet’s. And actually not coming up with proper justification. Hilarious.
I mean as long as they don’t do what they did with the wild area mons “this pokemon is too strong to be caught” it wont be bad. Like if can almost beat a lvl 40 mon or something with my 15s or w.e i should be allowed to catch it, then use it to beat the higher lvl gyms along with my team. Then i could get my favorite pokemon/new mons early instead of using a pidgey etc and trading it out after the first gym cause theres a better pokemon to fill its role. From there you could say have a dratini/your favorite pokemon for the 1st or 2nd gym(found it a much later area at low level or something), a couple of the new pokemon that are cool found in “later” areas, and then some more of your 2nd tier or w.e favorite mons the whole game instead of random teams of “whats available in the area at the time.” I definitely think they should age the game a bit, at least make it easier to access the basics so new players arent lost (maybe since its a school setting you could have a tutorial using different teachers “re explaining” the returning mechanics because you fell asleep in class or some excuse and then have the professor explain terraizing or w.e other new stuff they added seasoned players wont know about.) While also making the game more challenging so people that have been playing pokemon for yrs can not feel like the game is just a waste of time. I think PLA did a decent job of making the game harder having high lvl battles/pokemon, like the end end game(wont spoil just in case) as a decently hard end battle and some hard battles scattered throughout the game making the experience more fun.

I really wish Nintendo would make a game for ps5/pc/xbox. I would like to see how the game could be on a proper console.

So even though this game is open-world and you can tackle the Gyms in any order, the Gyms don’t scale to how many badges you have.
So the level 30 Gym leader will ALWAYS have level 30 Pokemon.
