When it ended, I asked a friend if the ending was good. He said:
“If you want some closure to some of the character arcs then yes. If you still want to know why there was a polar bear on a tropical island out of a comic book, then no.”
it made me feel dread watching Watchmen, knowing it was a Lindelof show. And of course, it ended with an episode long scorched earth fart. Double yellow card, that spectacled toad is canceled
Did a rewatch recently and its actually one of my favorite shows now, back when it aired I was kinda too hung up on the mysteries and dead ends, but on the rewatch I was more focused on the characters and their story, and it was much better that way and I actually appreciated the ending more. It has its flaws ofc, but there really have not been anything like this show, before or after it.
Raised By Wolves on HBO really hit the Lost ‘mystery box’ style and I was hooked. Maybe my favorite show of the last few years…..until the discovery merger.

I came across [this blog post](https://futuretom.wordpress.com/2010/05/25/an-open-letter-to-anyone-who-thought-the-end-of-lost-was-awesome/) years ago and it pretty much summed up my feelings on the ending of Lost.
First three seasons were fine, but once they introduced the flash-forwards then the flash-sideways, it just went downhill from there
