This is the worst stretch of Waikiki where the Honolulu city and county allowed Sheraton to build a monstrosity right on the beach. At times the building is practically in the ocean.
It’s people like this that make Oahu close sections of these walkways off to the public. Every one thinks they are different and will be fine only to find out that rocks and stone that are constantly bombarded by waves are slippery. I haven’t walked by this section of Waikiki beach/grays beach, but it is really annoying when people hurt themselves and the city closes the path.
