Comparison is the thief of joy. I’m constantly dealing with it from my wife…her hobbies and interests quite often put her in the company of people who are in a completely different financial category than we’re in so she’s always seeing new houses and lavish vacations and new cars. It’s so easy to completely dismiss what you have when you’re constantly comparing it to other peoples’ good fortune.
Me projecting: Friend 1 secretly works hard, friend 2 worked hard for a long time, friend 3 has rich af parents and friend 4 was a leech for 35 years.
Well we all are here so we know which one represents us
Wait you guys are getting things?
Don’t worry about what other people have. Just keep doing your best <3
Then steal from them.
Friend 1 likely hates their life and is jealous of their friends who don’t have kids
Friend 2 is likely massively in debt and struggling to pay their mortgage
Friend 3 likely has rich parents but has no life and no real friends
🤷♂️
Friend 1: “3 Kids and mariage”
The image: shows 4 kids
Me: 💀
I have 8 dollars 😎
Don’t be like that… your memes were never funny. /s

So number three will become number 4 after 4 weeks?
Only one of them isn’t on Instagram portraying a life filled with nothing but joy they don’t have.
