Twilight Imperium is incredible. It may seem intimidating to learn, all the mechanics work well together and the game allows for a lot of table politics.
Sidereal Confluence. A game in which you are both competing with each other but also need each other to succeed. Its all in on pips that make more pips so depends on if you get excited about that sort of thing.
Cosmic Encounter- A game with simple board mechanics that create the base game. Then you all get a different alien race with a gimmick that greatly alters the game for everyone involved. Has a ton of replay variety.
Outer Rim- Star Wars based game (if that’s a plus for you). A game in which you smuggle/bounty hunt/perform jobs around the galaxy. Mostly PvE with a bit of PvP with both roles having fun stuff to do within them.
Citadels- Short simple card game with minimal pieces. Just enough choice and guessing to keep it interesting but pretty quick and easy to learn.
There gotta be a board game sub for this, don’t there? I got nothing against board games, but I personally find them deeply boring, and get no enjoyment out of them.
Up until September 2022, I didn’t know a single other person that liked Board Games like I did. I assumed that Board Games were outdated, and that I was the only one who really still appreciated them, just because NO ONE I knew gave a shit. Then, I found a meet up for board gaming, and discovered there’s a rich, vast, and active world
We have almost no overlap in games compared to my and my friends collections we’ve gotten over many many years. Though I have played a bunch of them. My friend does have Arkham Horror card game (LCG) but with every expansion and some duplicates, which takes up like 1.5 shelves on it’s own with folders for all the cards and their boxes.
I might have to post a picture later, but some of my favorite all time games are Galaxy Trucker (with tiles from all expansions), Battlestar Galactica (not enough in group to play it anymore really though), Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition + expansions, Sentinels of the Multiverse, Arkham Horror in general.
Your collection is pretty decent sized. Board games, especially if you have a reasonably static group, are often collected based on your group’s preferences and size.
The hobby store I used to board game at like over 10 years ago before it closed up had a room with walls lined with shelves of board games that you could just pick and play. People would bring their own games as well. You could just go watch people play or play whatever with random people, was a great time.
Nice! My kids and I have been getting into family board games more recently (besides the usual video games). We just went to a local small game store and bought Scotland Yard, great for kids 6-10yo.
I love a good board game, making up my first TTRPG to introduce my niece and nephew to them. Also backed this gaming table, affordable and portable.

Can’t wait to play more things. On Friday I will have some friends out to play some horror themed board/card games. Looking forward to it.
No Catan?
You’re missing Ticket to Ride!

Video games are far more exciting.
What game is that huge box?!
I miss wasting entire weekends trying to get through one game of Axis and Allies.
It’s a WW2 themed, Risk-style game, but with specifics units and move sets.
Shoutout to boardgames, without them we wouldn’t have games like Cyberpunk 2077
Gloomhaven is a lot of fun, but I am of the opinion that the digital is just as good if not better. Takes away lot of tedium
Very nice collection, seeing shelves of board games is so satisfying. You should get betrayal at the house on the hill, very fun game
I don’t see Roborally anywhere. RIOT!
So happy to see someone with Heroes of Land Air and Sea.
Do you have a giant gaming table that compels to buy the biggest games possible?
I love how it’s all of the hardcore, niche, obscure games and then there’s just basic ass clue there
I just bought Machi Koro 2 about a month ago. I call it Monopoly-lite and the family loves to play it. If you haven’t heard of it check it out.

What is that huge box on the bottom right?
Dude, I want to hang at your house.
Not a single Uwe Rosenberg game? Uncultured swine.
Mostly kidding of course. His games are amazing but admittedly not for everyone.

You should definitely try out Dune Imperium its a blast to play. I’ve been obsessed recently
I would recommend Specter Ops. It’s a great hidden movement game that my crew and I play.
Dark Souls board game? Is it hard as hell too? 😆

Too Many Bones is way to expensive to have it wrapped up mate.
How is Charterstone? I’ve been looking at buying it for awhile now, but I havent been sure it was worth the money
