Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and in India, at an elevation of approx. 5500 m. Oxygen level at such an elevation is very thin and there is absolutely no greenery in the surrounding. Yet, ignoring the ordeal, I was absolutely mesmerised at the pristine beauty of this landscape. It was surreal to witness such a landscape in person.
