Now he looks like Alfred E Newman.
Looking good people!
Esai Morales looks even better now.
Good genes
My old roommate is Mexican, and when I said I don’t care for the movie *”La Bamba”* his mom looked at me as if I’d murdered their (unironically) Chihuahua, Penny.
RIIIIIIIIIIITCHIE!!!!
Bob! Not my Ritchie.
Awe this is great! Ty. La bamba and Richie vallens are like my Roman empire, I think about it daily!
Current MI villain, Blackie’s girlfriend on General Hospital…and Lou Diamond Phillips
I just realized Esai Morales is the villain in mission impossible dead reckoning. Mind blowing.
This gives me the good feels. What a great flick.
Well I know what I’m watching this eve. One of my fave movies.
Oh shit, I just realized the guy that played the brother is that guy…wow
I wanna see my daughterrrr
I couldn’t watch Woody Woodpecker after this I just couldn’t get that scene out of my head
Not my Ritchieeeeeee!!!!
I freaking love that song.
Richie Valens deserved a much longer life. We lost a lot of talent when he died.
I loved this movie as a kid. I need to rewatch it.
Not my first… or mah last.
Oralé pues vatos!
I won a book of free summer movie passes from the library the year after this came out. I used every single ticket to watch La Bamba over and over again at the Kabuki Theatre in San Francisco. I remember bringing my diary to the record store so I could copy the lyrics down and learn every word. I recorded the songs on a tape when I got the radio station to play my request. I dreamed of Ritchie at night! My fist love story.🥴😅
Damn you bob!
What’s there to say? Not my first, not my last -takes shot-
Great movie & all 3 look great, especially at their age.
Here’s a bit of a rattlesnake.
Sadly, even though Ritchie Valens was a great talent I think Lou Diamond Phillips made him look real good. He brought a lot of energy and passion to the role. If you watch old clips of Ritchie Valens he seemed very laid back.
I can remember my dad trying to take me in to see it when I was six and it was cert 15. The man at the Cinema refused and my dad had a drunken row with him. Happy days lol.
Lou: “Louis? Who the f**k is Louis?”
when I think of Lou, I think of Angel going “what’s Calculus?”
