This just unlocked a core memory of trying to watch my uncle and cousin play this game but being “too young” to watch. Now Monolith studios needs to remake Shogo.
Am I the only one who couldn’t tell the difference between original and enhanced ?
Kingpin was the first shooter with locational damage, like headshots mattered.
It was notable only for that and was eclipsed very soon after by soldier of fortune where you could shoot heads and shoot off limbs.
It is a footnote on gaming and the remake looks no different than the original.
There’s no fucking difference!! It looks EXACTLY the same as it did 20 odd years ago!! This isn’t even half arsed, there’s NO arse at all!!
The side-by-sides look identical and for some reason they decided to use footage showcasing massive slowdown. Like if I was reporting it as a bug, that’s the footage I’d use.
