Kinda blows my mind when you put a 50inch TV next to a gameboy, how tiny the screens we used to play on were

Playing on phones ain’t much diff
Even more so when you think that the GameBoy didn’t have a backlit screen until the SP. I had one of those magnifier light up dealies so I could carry on playing Pokémon Blue when I should be sleeping. Good times.
Crazy to think a 50″ used to be big as well
Pokemon looks cool on that TV

Big things look smaller from a distance. Stay tuned for more mind blowing facts.
Might work better to compare it to the Switch OLED screen, rather than a TV. Handheld to handheld.
yes but you don’t play on a 50″ tv by sitting ~~30~~12″ away from it
Crazy, yesterday I showed my wife my GBA and had the thought: man this is so small
I have a big SP And DS Game Collection How Did You Get Them To Play On Your TV? GameCube?
Bit of a strange comparison. Last I saw no one sits 1 foot away from a 50 inch TV.
I wish we had another simple pocketable console, something developers could release new titles on. Maybe something akin to the Analogue Pocket sans the emulation focus and more something like the Pico8 with less limitation.
Distance to your eyes matters as well
The person holding the gameboy up needs to eat something man! Got some stick arms going on there.
Now you take that 50″ TV and hold it 7″ away from your eyes while on a plane
Kinda weird to compare a screen that would be a foot from your face to one that is 8 – 12 feet away.
The Gamecube had an attachment that let you play GBA games on the TV and we did exactly that, play Pokémon Red/Green version lol
