I’ve been working on this drawing for one hundred hours, and I’m halfway through.

This is insanely well done!
Wow.
Wow this looks like an actual photograph, that’s amazing!
I can’t even do stick figures. What talent
I had to zoom in to check it wasn’t a photo! Amazing work!
Crazy gift you’ve got.
Sick. No idea how you did the nose ring.
Incredible craft!
Sincere question: when you spend this amount of time on something, do you plan to sell it/is it a gift for someone? Is it just practice/challenge for yourself? Do you just genuinely enjoy the process?
Just curious, because that is a long time to spend on one piece of work, and I would imagine you must have some strong internal motivation (whatever that might be) to stick with it.
Is there a reason to draw like this? Most of the drawers I see work on the full picture all at once, so there are no patches of completed. I mean, you have a fully completed section and you are just now starting on the unfinished section?
I struggle to have legible handwriting and some people can do *this*. Mind blowing, nice job, OP.
Dude I showed this to my dad and he’s been talking about how amazing the drawing is for 5 mins straight
Please do not in anyway take this as criticism, your drawing is amazing. I always love these types of drawings before they are finished. When they are done I personally can’t understand making it look like a photo.

Me when I spend 10 mins drawing something with no experience and it doesn’t look like OP’s.
This is amazing. I have aphantasia so I’m unable to visualise things like this in my head nevermind put it down on paper. You truly have an amazing talent.
I can’t wrap my head around this level of talent, photo realism seems impossible until evidence like this shows it can be done! Amazing! So amazing this drawing makes me want to pluck one specific eyebrow hair to give her perfect sculpted brows but like, I mean I know it’s the “imperfections” that make her come to life!
Interesting technique. My brain would have wanted me to sketch the whole thing out and build increasing detail over the whole piece instead of finishing some parts to this level of detail before even starting others.
How??? This skill is insane. I would love the watch a time lapse of this sort of art being done!!
Please post the final image!
I believe that you drew this…but no fucking way you actually drew this 🤯
Human ability is spectacular… Congratulations on your talent and thank you for sharing it with the world
I wonder if you’re doing it with an intention of proving it to yourself that you can do it / to impress yourself and others? Obviously not the first piece of photorealism you’re doing. I bet you get a nice meditation from it.
How are drawings like this real? I don’t understand how people draw in sections like this, shading and all… and then the whole thing just ends up matching in contrast throughout the whole picture. I really need to see some real, genuine real time drawings of these.
How
How do I give a half-like?
What persuaded you to do photorealistic art rather than stylised or stylised mixed with photorealism as it looks so good that people think it’s just a printed image, that the amount of effort and time spend goes unnoticed most of the time unless mentioned it’s hand-drawn.
I’ve been staring at the detail zoomed in for about 20 minutes, this is absolutely amazing talent
Holy crap x-x totally respect and appreciate hyper realism but idk how people have the patience.
Looks amazing btw, def no hate
It looks like she has a lot of blackheads. 🥴
How long did you take to shade the upper lip?
I *so* much prefer it when I can see the drawing. If I want a photo-looking image, then I’ll look at a photo. Making a drawing look *cool* though, and not merely realistic, takes special artistry. I’d like to see that photorealism with the outlined parts in the same drawing. It’s so much more impressive to expose the artifice in a beautiful way.
Aren’t the major forms toned in grey’s first? I have never seen artist render like a printer. Interesting technique, looks good.
A bit racist…
I have to ask something that i hope doesn’t offend. Is this what you to do make a living? And if so, how do you make a living talking up to 200 hours to make a drawing? Genuinely curious. Is this a commission?
If you work 40 hours a week at minimum wage $15/hr, and this is going to take 200 hours to finish, roughly 5 weeks of work at 40 hours a week, that’s approximately $3,000 before taxes. I’m genuinely curious how people make a living doing stuff like this. If it is a commission, are you getting at least that in return to justify spending 200 hours on a single commissioned drawing?
Of course this could totally just be you using your free time to go a hobby you love.
Kudos btw, the hyper-realism of this is insane. I love it
Sweet mother of god, how do people get this kind of talent?! I can barely draw despite wanting to do so. Absolutely beautiful, stunningly good work. Please share when it’s done. Can hardly wait to see the finished drawing.
