Best for a 3rd shift valet
I badly regret selling my psp.
Remember thinking how amazingly crisp and clear the picture was for the Spider-Man 2 trailer on the demo disc.
Can’t forget how crazy it was to have an analog stick on a handheld too, it blew me away as a kid. The PSP truly felt futuristic, it was a magical system that I wish grew as well as the DS.
It’s 2005 and I figure out how to get porn on my psp
I bought Office Space and Kung Fu Hustle for my psp. Those two movies and Ridge Racer got me through a lot of long trips.
This movie came packaged with the console if I remember correctly. And yes, it was amazing watching it on handheld.
The PSP had no buisness failing as hard as it did. It felt solid in your hands, the graphics and display were fantastic, the battery had good life and was replaceable, the memory card system sucked ass but the buttons were so satisfying
I watched The Karate Kid on mine atleast 30 times when that movie came out
I’m convinced that if this shipped with two thumb sticks it would have been much much bigger in America. I got one day one and loved the shit out of it but you couldn’t play shooters naturally or control the camera in games properly. They fixed it with the Vita but at that point it was 7 years too late and interest was gone
Try zooming in and out of this picture guys. What kind of optical illusion is that?!
This was me.
Why the movie is in full screen?
This little baby had some of the best Yu-Gi-Oh! games. The Tag Force series was amazing.
Dude, I was on vacation once streaming movies from my computer to my PS3 and then all the way to my PSP in a fucking tent.
It was glorious.
We watched A Scanner Darkly and Spun haha. (Dunno why, I think they were just already on my computer)
There was a restaurant in my hometown that let every table play with a PSP while you waited and/or ate. You had to give them your license/ID for collateral. I remember playing some Spider-Man game and thinking woah this is the future. They stopped because people stole them (duh)
This reminds me of the first time I used a laptop on WiFi when both were fairly uncommon/new. I was walking around my house using the internet and just being amazed at how cool that was.
For me it was ffvii advent children. Even watched it on a plane and the person next to me was wowed by the device itself
The psp and this movie got me through a particularly nasty power outage.
You were a God with this setup back in the day 🔥
I was a mega Nintendo fanboy back then and “didn’t like” the PSP just because it wasn’t Nintendo’s. But damn that’s a sexy beast; even if it came out today. I played one a few times and loved it.
I wanted a PSP so bad back then, my buddy had one and it seemed like the coolest thing ever. My grandma got me a DS for my birthday though so that was pretty sick
All on UMD. The future of media sharing. Really putting the U in Universal
Back then I bought a 1gb sd card to use with my PSP. Not cheap in those days. I used a program to rip my dvd’s, save them to the sd card and play them on the psp. Blew the mind of everyone I showed lmao
My friend used to download porn on that and show it to us in the locker room lmao
Yo anyone remember what a PITA it was to get videos to play on early firmware versions? Not only did you have to convert it to a specific video format, but you also had to have a specific folder structure on the memory card and name the video file something very specific like MOV00001.MP4 or some crap like that. And we were happy as a clam about it back then.
Damn, psp was a such cool concept
It’s 2022 and you’re amazed you get to play Insomniac’s Spider-Man on a Steam Deck.
Honestly the PSP was a fantasitc device.
