Is there any other game like Spec Ops The Line that lists you as part of the credits like this?

Not necessarily the same, but cool none the less, when ff14 relaunched as realm reborn those who played in the shit version could have their character name appear as a special credit
Left 4 Dead
Spoilers for an Rpg from the Sega Saturn Panzer Dragoon Saga >!Directly addresses you the player in the end cutscene as the “divine being” controlling the main character Edge in the story. Edge even looks directly out the camera through the TV screen at you and basically says “thanks for guiding me”!<.
Earthbound, actually scared the hell out of me until my brother reminded me it ask for my name halfway through the game.
Pikmin 4 does it
FFXIV: Endwalker’s credits lists you at the end.
There are games you play and then there’s games that play you… Spec Ops the line is one such game.
Do you feel like a hero yet?
The Starfield credits start off by saying “For Robert” I thought that was a nice personal touch.
Well in devil may cry 5 when you are in a mission where 2 characters story’s intersect the game will show you what the other character did with the recording of a different person’s playthrough of said character and you can rate them on how well they played
This is a spoiler no one should read unless they’ve already played the game, but at one point, Inscryption >!takes your friends from your friends list and then makes enemies out of them that you have to fight. Same icons and usernames and everything. Technically not really a spoiler, but it’s such a major mind-fuck when it happens that it feels like a spoiler to me.!<
Earthbound not only has you in the credits, but have you help beat the final boss.
Death stranding puts you and all the people who left things in your world to help you travel
Didn’t cod warzone list everyone in the match at the end like a big line of credits at one point? I haven’t played it for a long time so I’m not sure if it’s still like that
journey might count as this!! very good game
Not exactly end credits, but in The Talos Principle, the Messenger ending ‘immortalizes’ your Steam name, avatar, and a quote on a tombstone.
Journey. But now that I think about it, I don’t recall if it lists you, but I know it lists the people you played with.
Bungie gave a special message at the end of Reach, or whatever the last game they made in the Halo series was. I forget.
Mass Effect put something in at the end of 3, not personalizing it with a simple (username here) insert, but just a shout out special thanks to “all the fans… blah blah, the journey and being there… blah blah.”
Left 4 Dead 1 + 2
minecraft uses your username as part of the credits after you beat the ender dragon
NieR: Automata
Doki Doki Literature Club
Nier Automata did something similar and to me, it did it in a far more immersive, inclusive and impactful way than this game. I’ve yet to see anything come close to that as far as credits are concerned. When it comes to narrative and storytelling, Japan is far ahead of the pack.
in my memories, a few 8 bits game , probably sega master system, had a
thanks to – *japanese name scrolling -* and you
pretty much the same, except it did not include your gamertag.
I guess minecraft creates A whole dialogue dedicated to you in The end, if that counts
Doki Doki Litterature Club
it participates to even more 4th wall breaking
Earthbound and Mother 3 are particularly heartfelt versions of this.
