Ah, yes, Over the Hedge on the PS2. Not bad for a tie-in movie video game from the 2000s. It was, if I remember correctly, the first video game that I ever finished. I tell ya, the moment I discovered what a memory card was, it was like a whole new world opened up to me.
Comparing Over the Hedge to Elden Ring is an insult to Over the Hedge

This game was hard as hell to me, as a kid.
I dunno man the masterful story, gameplay and artstyle kinda put Over The Hedge way past anything Elden Ring could pull off.

The more I grow up, the more I learn that a lot of people played this. I thought it was just me for the longest time. This game was awesome.
I replayed it a week ago, the game isn’ so difficult until you try to 100% it, the shooting range level, the escape from one of the last houses, and the don’t take damage in the level with electric floor, and lots of bunnies where hell, the other chellenges are not so bad.
This game was difficult for 8-10 year old me but I loved playing it on the PS2
I’m gen z, and I like it too. Btw I’m a gen z that hates TikTok.
This game is unironically one of the best games I played as a kid. Loved this one and Shrek 2, both a lot of fun to play with friends
