For the person here with their head in the sand here; are the morality police a government body or like the neighborhood watch but that will kill you?

I get the feeling that Iran will get rid of their morality police just in time for the Republicans to institute them in the US.
From the vids I’ve seen of those guys getting their asses kicked, I would guess things are improving a bit.

There has been plenty of ladies in public without wearing the stupid headwrap before the protests have happened, iran is not as crazy as the media depicts
Riot gear, balaclavas and fatigues to enforce ‘morality’. They are like state sponsored wife beaters.
So moral they have to cover their faces in masks.
Karma farming again. Thatâs not the morality police, those are riot cops and no, they donât really care about your hijab. Also, walking around without a hijab right now isnât gonna really get you in trouble temporarily because the government is trying to let things die down a bit and last thing they want is a repeat of what happened.
The morality police has pretty much kinda made itself scarce, but itâll probably pop back up in a couple of months when things have fully died down
Funny enough, the majority of the âMoralityâ police force are actually women officers since it is not religiously allowed for a man to handle a woman in most circumstances
