Quan stopped acting in the late 1990s, he went to school and received his film degree from USC School of Cinematic Arts. He went on to work as a stunt coordinator and assistant director with credits on ‘X-Men’ and ‘The One. ‘ and 1992’s ‘Encino Man. ‘ I have been told that he was also the dad in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Man, Quan deserves all the love and success for the joy he brought us back in the day and for the bullshit he put up with until recently. So thrilled for him!

Fun fact: This is the first time that Harrison Ford has smiled since 1988.
This is the guy who should have carried on the franchise. I think I would have loved Kingdom of the Crystal Skull if ShortRound had come back out of nowhere to drag a retired Jones back into the chaos.

I loved, **loved**, his performance in *Everything Everywhere All At Once*.
I saw this picture on Ke Huy’s insta this morning and as a result, I had a great day. It just made me feel good.
Also I agree with everyone else, go see Everything, Everywhere. It was wonderful. I didn’t recognize him until about 20 minutes into the film, when I recognized him from his voice, and I excitedly shrieked, “oh my God that’s Data!” and disturbed all the other movie patrons.
