The shoulder balls -er, pauldrons, just kinda got bigger and bigger from the NES one to Prime.
That said… what are the other iconic armors?
Halo’s SPARTAN is a given, and whatever Gears of Wars was called. Fallout’s Power Armor, Starcraft’s Space Marines (which I guess also references Warhammer 40k’s). Gordon Freeman’s HEV considered a form of power armor? Well, that’s all from the top of my head.
Imo better than iron man.

I prefer Fallout 4’s power armor and especially Primaris space marines. The latter also has the oversized shoulder, but everything else is oversized too.

Idk man, you have stuff like Fallout, Halo, and maybe even the Dead Space suit. It’s the shoulders for me though. They look stupid.
