This would trigger me as well, but in my past experience (quite often actually), if I tried to go for $42, it would end up being $42.01. Then I would be out of my mind.
$42…easy. It’s the only one of the two you’ll see again in the near future.
Here in San Francisco 15 gallons will set you back $72 right now. And that’s for the cheapest grade gas.

Would have been easier for me, 15 gallons here would come to $117,87 which isn’t even close to a round number.
What you have now is FAR superior to 42.00 / 15.001
Always go with the price. That shows up in your account and will drive you crazy later, IMO.
