Summoner was the shit! I played both games.
I think about Orphan from time to time. Played that as a kid. Had no idea what was going on in the story but enjoyed the action.

I remember playing a demo of summoner on the PC when I was but young child (30 now)
Summoner brings back so many memories goddamn. First PS2 game I ever played and it was mind blowing compared to what I had been playing on my crappy PC until then.

I remember Orphen. Even has an anime. Unfortunately, just like the anime, the executor on was terrible.
Still. I loved the drama from calling out the spell names.

It got very easy once you realize pretty much everything in the game can be handled with blunt weapons.
Omg orphen lol. I hated that game but loved the anime. Camera angles were so fucky.
