I’m at 131 free Epic Games collected but never installed a single one before. Who else?

I’ll do you one better, I’ve never even installed the launcher. I claim it all through the web.
I grab the free 1 or 2 games per week on the epic store for a long time now, I’m up to 131 free games so far, around 6,000$ if I were to buy them all,
but I’ve never installed one before, I use steam and want all my games/playtime/achievements/friends in one spot
Anyone else do this for fun like me?
354.
I kinda just have enough games I’m never going to play already.
I have a bunch, but one of my kids uses that account to play Fortnite and I use it for Rocket League.
I’m probably at a similar amount. I have installed a few of them, though. Usually the smaller titles that I know I’d probably never buy on Steam.
I got more than 300. Finished or tried a few dozens.
If you buy something you’ll at least try it. If you get it for free on the other hand…
Oh man download and play Saints Row The Third now. I’m convinced they made that game while on every drug ever
I’ve played a couple. But yeah when there’s no intent to play behind acquiring a game then it probably won’t get touched.
Only game ive installed was Soma
Play frostpunk and saints row
355 games on Epic. The only game thats not free is Hitman 3 wich was a gift. The only free game i played on Epic was Supraland wich i liked so much i bought it on Steam with its Dlc because that was cheaper than just the Dlc on Epic. And i never installed them on my Pc cause i play mostly on Geforce Now.
Weird flex
I did that a few times as well, I don’t use epic games and I’m not gonna play games there but “it’s free” so might as well pick some games, right? But very soon I realize that’s just pointless, then I stopped. xD
There were great games given away. I played lots of them. Maybe you played them before and the ones you didn’t you won’t played even for free.
Dunno why if you playing games just for playing games instead of show off people, epic is actually enough and better than EA+Uplay and Bethesda+ Rock Stars’s garbage launcher. I have lots of games here and playin them very well. Atleast unlike Steam, it really update games, not bugged hard.
I’ve played three or four, the rest are all 3D and too cumbersome for my laptop.
Maybe I’ll buy a new pc somewhere down the line, so it can’t hurt to collect free games.
I did happen to play a few of them on PS4 and some of those free games are great!
I stopped collecting them, it’s no use. I’m on steam with a Deck and GOG for old titles.
I just checked, i have 331 games on epic and only bought one of them. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1+2 because it was epic exclusive at the time of release and i really wanted to play it.
From the free games i played Subnautica, Torchlight, FTL, The Talos Principle, GTA V, The long Dark, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and EU IV.
The only one I’ve installed was GTA 5 when that was free
never installed egs
Have **235 games** as per now in my EGS account out of which i played **2 games** completely i.e. **Rise of the Tomb Raider (2015) & Shadow of the Tomb Raider (2018).**
As well as in generally i never bought any single game from the EGS Store but still thanks EGS for there freebie giveaways they save a lot of money for budget gamers like me.
Fuck Epic.
Steam 4 Life
That’s quite an accomplishment. You’re going places.
I played plenty of games 🤷
Ah, the weekly EGS contempt thread.
Also, why do you continue to redeem the freebies each week with such diligence if you haven’t and probably never will try any of them? Library size brag? Karma farm? Only potential life achievement?
Almost at 400 (every free game claimed since they started) and I’ve maybe played 2 or 3 lol, never given them a penny.
I don’t claim every game, just the ones I’m interested in. I have about 50
Remnant is definitely worth playing
install remnant from the ashes NOW
I did play some the games but my Epic library is full of unplayed game. But it’s kinda common as I have plenty of Steam game I never played too, mostly free one or really cheap I bought for later purpose. in any case, software like Steam and epic are still awful thing that happened in PC game as we’re forced to use their launcher to play a game. People saying Steam is better and so are clearly too young to have know the era where we were free to use our game the way we want and actually owning it. Steam is the main and first reason why physical game are disapearing, just like Microsoft is the casue for making player pay to have access online functionnality in console game
