  • > Adam and Jane are three years into a NASA mission that has gone very wrong: Their ship is broken and drifting between Jupiter and Saturn. Finding ways to pass the time as they become certain that no one is coming to save them, they argue over what to do. One day, Adam poses that maybe they should sleep together; Jane laughs the idea off, but it prompts a flirty debate about whether they’re better off spending their remaining days as friends or something more.

Interesting premise and had a good receptions from SXSW 2023, you can watch it on Peacock now.

EDIT: I watched this, it was pretty cute romcom, I know some people dislike Anthony Mackie as lead, but he was pretty decent in this as a romcom leads, Zoe Chao, she was hilarious on Afterparty, and it is no surprise that she was also great in romcom as leads, I bought their chemistry, I want them to do another romcoms again as leads, either with themselves or with different people.

  • I can understand completely why they would take a cowboy hat with them on the trip, as you do, but cartridges for movies instead of digital storage?

That’s where I draw the line.

  • People crap on his acting but I legit feel Mackie has range, it’s just that it’s adequately shown only in his indie films like Sucker Free City or the Banker or She Hate Me. He’s somewhat bland to average in his big studio commercial films.

  • I wish he was more selective like Patterson, I like Mackie but sometimes I think he is just doing a Sam Jackson. Doing anything that comes his way. To be fair, it has netted Jackson a great amount of success and wealth. So I don’t blame Mackie, but when he isn’t burnt out, he can really bring an authentic heart to his performance that really gets me.
