Right after it happened I read a quote somewhere from a New Yorker saying that looking at the skyline without the Towers was like seeing your best friend with their front teeth punched out.

Looks matrix-esque
Also here before an inevitable lock
Pre 9/11. 🙁
This would be the only reason I’d live in a city. This veiw is amazing but the views of mountains are better
I’m 22 years old, and have lived here my whole life. I have never seen those two identical skyscrapers. Where was this picture taken from?

I’ve been watching a lot of 9/11 news coverage over the last few days.
Every 9/11 is so sad. I can’t imagine the horror of being there. I was 10 and in DC when it happened.
I have a picture from 1998 of my mom and I on a bridge with the towers in the background. It’s eerie to look at.
I hear this with law n order music 🎵 playing in the background
Now the area is so built up that the landscape is completely different.
Night court theme song
90’s was peak New York. And this is coming from someone who wasn’t alive in the 90’s and has never been to New York, nor is a sentient being
Toxicity
Loki/Green Goblin vibes
Those two big ones kinda just clutter everything up
I still argue they should have rebuilt the WTC exactly the same only taller
A better time
WTC RIP
How different would the world be now if 9/11 never happened. I think about that all the time.
A little lower? And you’ve have the title scene from the TV show “Night Court”.
Right after it happened I read a quote somewhere from a New Yorker saying that looking at the skyline without the Towers was like seeing your best friend with their front teeth punched out.
Any time I see these pictures of the twin towers I get a little teary eyed
Too soon
