I remember playing this at a bowling alley and I just recently discovered it again and watched a whole play through of it. I wish they remade this game for home consoles and made it into something else instead of a rail shooter.

I remember seeing Ross Scott (Accursed Farms, creator of Freeman’s Mind) play an emulated version of it a few years ago. I don’t think we’ll ever see a new game come out but MAME will always have us covered
that’s nice
This game was next level difficult. I had a friend who worked at the arcade and he just gave us mountains of tokens and it took an absurd amount to finish this
NOOOOOOPE
COME ON AND RIDE! BIG BUNYAN RIDE!
I absolutely LOVE CarnEvil. It’s always bugged me that it never got a home release of any kind. Thank God for emulation via MAME.
There is just so much brilliant creativity on display, from the rhyming jester during loading screens to the music that perfectly sets the tone for each stage, to the chaotic set pieces filled with civilians running for their lives. It’s right up there with Time Crisis and House of the Dead for me as an all-timer.
I love arcade shooters like this!
That game had way too many cheap shots to drain my quarters.
This was probably one of my #1 played arcade games. Lots of fun.
