Bomb Rush Cyberfunk came out recently, it’s basically a modern version of the JSR games. Would recommend.
Sega GT 2002 was the only racing game my brother ever got into enough to complete it. Core memory of us thinking it was so cool and funny that the Used muffler he bought blew up halfway through the first race lol. Good times.

I wasted so many hours to this dvd. You could rip your cd tracks into the Xbox, and then play it over Sega GT. Good times.

I recently learned of this combo when looking to replace a copy of JSRF only to find out(but not surprising) that it is a rare and valuable game now going for $100 on average.
The combo goes for much much less, around $10-20. The game is the same exact one on the dedicated disc it just shares it with the racing game.
I’m so glad I ended up finding my copy inside an old 360 because I did not want my stupid purist ass to have to drop $100 on a new copy.
Oh man I once remembered this game (skating, cool music, was one of two games on a disc) after years and years and spent at least an hour googling to find it. Takes me back
JSRF is set in 2024. That world is our future in two months lol.

I loved JSRF so much. I was like 9 and had no clue what the fuck I was doing but I had so much fun, would love to replay it.
Xbox wasn’t doing too hot early on so got a price reduction & 2 SEGA games as a pack in. Along with Halo or the landfill amount of FIFA games this is probably the most common disc you’ll find. Jet Set Radio is an absolute banger!

We all went to Jet Set Radio Future, & I’m still questioning how Sega never gave it a sequel or a remake, especially when RGG Studio & Atlus have been carrying them for over a decade with the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series & Persona series.

I forgot about Sega GT 2002. I own it. Good game. At least in my 20 year memory of the game. I miss the days when Sega took chances on games like that.
