I really thought we’d have gotten a Prince and/or a Bowie biopic by now, too.
I’m glad it actually shows her relationship with Robyn
As a little kid I always thought she was spectacularly beautiful and unbelievably talented.
My cousin got married in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, GA, I was in my 20’s.
Held the rehearsal dinner in a dining room off the bar of the hotel there, during a large convention, not sure exactly what it was for.
A bunch of us were sitting out in the bar when we saw a few familiar faces. Bobby and Whitney were sitting in chairs, being interviewed by a journalist. It broke my heart. She looked… terrible. Just tired and wasted away. She died not long after.
I hope this movie does her some justice.

I guess suspend my disbelief because I remember the first time I saw Whitney Houston (“Saving All My Love For You”) and it was one of those moments when someone’s beauty takes your breath away. This actor I’m sure captures her character well enough but just not the same.
Looks promising but at some parts it looks like it could be on par with selena netflix series.
If it is by bohemian rhapsody writer then it looks like it had the same beats and also this probably will be 10% the story. Not the same editor i hope
