I still remember my very first game, Legend of Zelda on Nintendo. How many hours must I have sank into this game…

I lost count. I don’t think I found everything either.
My friend and I drawing the map as we played. Had it laid out on 20 sheets of paper all over the carpet. Amazing game.
That fucking one dungeon that could only be opened with fire. It took me and the boys days to find that fucking thing.
Such great memories. Running over to the neighbor’s house to show them on their console where to find it and how. I completely forgot about that, thanks for bringing this memory up.
Man, I haven’t played this one in probably 3 weeks. Always a fun way to kill a Sunday afternoon. But I still suck at the second quest.
I used to play through this in one sitting in college because the battery on our cartridge was dead. it was my lame party trick.
I remember you could call the Nintendo telephone and ask for directions when you were stuck. Oh the memories.
Still Sinking!
The game that changed game design forever. Soundtrack to adventure.
“It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.”
My very first game was Super Mario Bros on NES (Duck Hunt combo). I first discovered it as an arcade game at Spaghetti factory, and begged my parents for quarters to play. They said no. When we got home, my dad went to the storage room and pulled out his NES and set it up for me.
great game, never finished it
