Neons were fun little cars to zip around in. This looks like it would still be fun to zip around in, and probably won’t need a head gasket anytime soon.
Saw many cars like this when I did the Gambler500 a few years ago. Clearly more than 500 all in, but still really cool to see what people could cobble together.

You guys should see the monstrosity’s running around at Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan. Go any weekend in the summer and you will amazed at the things people put together.

At least that’s well done. I’ve seen worse than that on FB market place this morning. There was a Subaru Forester sitting on a truck frame with military tires. The frame was a good foot below the Subaru, so just stood out like a sore thumb.
The radiator for some reason was plumbed into the back seat. And I don’t mean like in a race car. I mean the back seat was still there, there was a massive hole in the floor for the tubing. And just a radiator sitting sidways on a seat mounted to nothing. The dash was missing and they had a bunch of neon green pool noodles electrical taped over the metal. It all looked like garbage.
This brings me to think:
When’s the last time anyone saw a Dodge Neon?
I know they’re crap, but I didn’t think they’d go extinct that fast..

We did this to a Grand Am after my buddys gf trashed the entire steering/suspension in an accident that tolk her into a ditch. Used a tacoma chassis.

One has to admit, that’s a big improvement for a Neon.
I wish I got a picture but I saw a smart car this was done too, we were stuck in traffic and the guy got irritated and drove off-road through a field to cut through traffic. My wife and I were losing our minds at how awesome that tiny little jacked up car was.
We need Hotwheels version of these.
