I’ve seen these In different places. University of Louisville campus, Western KY University campus, and Brevard, NC (white squirrels are the town mascot).
Reminds me of the time I was on a hiking trail through a wooded area. I was about to cross paths with an older lady and she stopped to tell me that there’s an albino squirrel she heard about and really wanted to see and I kid you not the thing ran right between us immediately after she had said that. Her happiness from seeing it really made my day.
The University of Texas at Austin has an isolated squirrel population with an unusually high fraction of white squirrels. People frequently refer to them as albino, but most of them are only missing the brown pigment in their fur, not the grey one, so they’re kind of frosted-looking up close.

In Exeter Ontario they have a lot of white squirrels there. … Don’t drink the water there.
That. Is awesome
That’s so cool I’ve always wanted to see one
I wonder how rare they are?
Not an albino….more likely an escaped arctic snow squirrel that was someon’s pet. They’e the only carnivorous squirrel known to science.
Look at that thing! Three times as cheeky.
Gray, standard.
Black, medium spice.
White, mad cheeky.
I have all black squirrels in my neighborhood. If you listen closely at night you can hear hip hop coming from the hole in the tree.
Tappan Sq?

We have 2 that live in our yard in Minnesota. Used to have 3, but…. traffic.
Olney IL has long been home to albino squirrels.
