That’s a hell of a bill.
I remember someone tossing cheap packs of David Gray-branded cigarettes to the crowd. Pre-18, teenage me was happy to receive them, crazy how much shit used to fly back in the day.
Back before concerts were a min of $50
Damn…. Bends era Radiohead for $11? Yes please.
Just paid 100$ last week to see less than half of Radiohead in concert. (The Smile)
The nostalgia is making my chest hurt.
Thanks for sharing. Great memories here
I wonder why the tickets cost the suspiciously specific “$10.77.” By complete coincidence, RCW 10.77 is the chapter of the Revised Code of Washington regarding incapacity and insanity in criminal cases.
Seattle native here, who lived there in 1996. Major flashback!
This is why I need time travel.
It was an incredible concert!

The format of this poster reminds me: Before they got big, I had a flyer (black print on blue) stuck in my windshield announcing that The Backstreet Boys would be performing in a Walmart parking lot. I kept it for years because the whole premise tickled me. “That’s their name? Backstreet… Boys? And they’re going to be performing in a Walmart parking lot? BAHAHA.” Egg on my face, with that one.
The Refreshments known mostly for the king of the hill theme.. at least to me.
I was listening to the Throwing Muses this morning
This should be in r/OldSchoolCool !
Throwing Muses!
I’d try to catch the Gin Blossoms over at UPS… actually head down to the Croc because soon it will be gone 😢
Jewel, Radiohead and Gin Blossoms? Fuck you in particular, OP, you lucky bastard
Some of those openers made it big eventually too.
You mean a Gin Blossoms flyer
Man, I had forgotten all about 3 lb. Thrill. They are on Spotify too! Rediscovering Diana, brb!
Saw them st the 930 club in DC during this time. Awesome stuff
Fuck radio head. Gin blossoms is way better
Throwing Muses were great too!
Man, this brings back some memories.
My first two concerts were Gin Blossoms
DV8! Hello fellow Seattleite!
That’s a very nice baby Madagascar Jewel you have in the background! Wait for it to shoot seeds across your house!
At club DV8 (all ages club in Seattle) no less. Awesome bit of nostalgia.
Monqui presents. Takes me back.
I know back then they weren’t as proggy but Radiohead supported by David Gray is hilarious
Edwin McCain/Jewel sounds like a show filled with hot 90’s chicks smoking Virginia Slims wearing tube tops and acid wash baggy jeans with combat boots. I miss being rejected in those days. You’d get the whole “aww, you’re sweet, but no” and still get a hug for trying. Good times!
Save that shit!! I collect concert posters and love the ones with sponsors printed on them..may not be worth much now…but one day..👌
