They’re the coolest animal.
Hi Zoom!
I have so little knowledge of platypus, I knew the basic anatomy – Duck billed – and I knew they are called platypus.
This video has made me want to learn more. Thanks for sharing. Amazing.
“Let me just tuck this stuff right up next to my asshole.”
Dr Bill Platypus could examine patients with his
Agent P!
They are also great at convincing disguises.
His clumsy ass could never be a secret agent
So they’re a backwards elephant as well.
A platypus? Perry the platypus!?
They also glow blue under a UV light!
You can see him tearing up when he sees the baby, I did too! Such amazing animals.
good stuff. never seen some of this content even if i watched docs on animals for many years
Completely dumbass commentary.
It’s always something with these mfs
Platypuses can pretty much do anything they want.
Opossums do that too and for the same reason.
Doo bee doo bee doo bah.
My heart lightens seeing this life and the passion for them.
It’s a semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal of action.
Like me with my shopping, need multiple trips.
little freaking aliens
Literally translated, we call them Bird-beak Animals (Vogelbekdier) in Dutch.
I wonder how funny they are named in other languages, including the literal translations to English.
I think no-one did.
It’s always something with me you guys discover.
Fun fact:
In addition to the platypus the following animals can carry things with their tail – Opossums, Beavers, Spider Monkeys, Howler Monkeys, Harvest Mice, and Prehensile-tailed porcupines
A platypus holding something with his tail?
Perry the Platypus holding something with his tail?!
***♫***
The front is like a duck
the back is like a truck
Go platypus
Go go platypus
Go platypus
Go ***♪♪***
Easy to see why the first settlers to encounter these things called them “duck moles”.
my god how much I hate it when nature documentaries drone on and on about the guy doing the documentary. I know about humans dude, show the fucking animals.
Watch the whole video. You won’t be disappointed. 🥰
“He’s just a platypus
They don’t do much.”
Brightened my day
What I have learned from this is that baby platypuses travel almost exclusively by rolling uncontrollably sideways like pudgy pool noodles.
What city is this?
Uh – there’s a platypus controlling me
I’m genuinely rooting for that little platypus to thrive and flourish. There’s something incredibly heartwarming about the innocence and cuteness of baby animals. The world can be a tough place, but seeing these adorable creatures reminds us of the simple joys in life. Here’s to hoping the baby platypus not only survives but also experiences a life filled with happiness and endless curiosity. It’s amazing how nature’s wonders can bring out our empathy and hope for the future.
I’m genuinely grateful I stumbled upon this post today. In the midst of all the chaos and negativity around us, this provided a much-needed escape and brought a smile to my face. Thank you for sharing this little moment of positivity amidst the storm.
Its ugly looking animal
