They were cool little devices. I used to travel a lot and had mine loaded with games, music and movies. Hundreds of hours of entertainment…
I have 3 different models. They all still work, and I love them.

I remember rocking my silver PSP back in high school in ’06. Aww, the memories when I got that Daxter bundle in Circuit City.
The battery on mine decided life was no longer worth living for. Found it expanded like a pillow ready to blow
Check for any battery swelling.
The fact that you didn’t lose the charging cord is the most surprising part of this.

Lucky. When i found mine, the battery was borderline nuclear.
I remember we found my brothers PSP and booted it up back when we were in HS in the early 2000s and found a shit ton of pics of my friends sister. It got awkward.

You could get into softmodding the PSP.
Chains of Olympus and ghost of Sparta were such good games! They really captured the spirit of the console games on that thing

Looks like a 3000 model. They are super easy to hack and are a great way to play emulators up to n64 (not the best framerate) and ps1 (native support, runs perfectly) and also play copies of all psp games for free!
I had problems with the connection to the screen quite early on, so I sold it to somebody that could fix it. A little annoying now, but I barely have time for my PS5 or Switch anyway.
Old psp? That thing came out like 10 years ago. I have an original Gameboy that still works. In fact most electronics will still work years later if they weren’t made with planned obsolescence in mind….

God i loved mine.. brings back memories. I also had a vita. Sad they didn’t do more with them, it was a cool concept.

I just wanted to point out that this is the psp 2001, not 1000. This was a special starwars edition that came with a star wars battlefront game.
