“Old….from 2012” 💀
Nintendo Power still triggers ancient trauma for me. When I was a kid, after getting a Nintendo, I got a subscription to Nintendo Power. Back then, when you subscribed to a magazine, it was often 6-8 weeks before you got your first issue. Well, during that waiting period, our house burned down, and I lost my Nintendo.
So the issues started coming in after I lost it. I remember the free subscription gift at the time was a strategy guide to a brand new game called Final Fantasy. I read that guide cover to cover multiple times, but I never played the game.
To me 2012 is new 😄

Mom threw them all away for no reason. Got it ever month from like 199* and up. (Or when ever it first came. Maybe older brother started it)

These are so old that the games that came free had to be coded yourself by copying the assembly code from the mag.

I still have a stack of these in a box somewhere. They’re all in pretty decent shape too. The one for the twilight princess release was a favorite of mine.
