Yep, and the knight that trains you is actually Link from Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask.
If you played either of those games first, that’s effectively you from the past training you from the present. And if you go on to play those games, it’s effectively you from the future training you from the present.
In a game that has some of the best character design in the series, it also has the worst. Anyone that’s not a main character looks so unnaturally creepy
Trying to figure out how the lore between Zelda games works is a fascinating thing. Does this bird species and their sky kingdom have any connection to the more recent Zonai in TOtK and THEIR sky kingdom, or did Nintendo just forget they had already made one before?
That´s the reason why Twillight Princess is my favourite Zelda game!
The german name of this “item” btw is “Tante” which means “aunt” if you translate it. It freaked me out when I was a kid.
In my opinion from the GameCube/Wii/Wiiu era, Twilight Princess was the best one. Skyward Sword gets second place. I wouldn’t mind a re-release in the Switch like Skyward Sword got.
Twilight Princess was a gem. It’s beautiful melancholy mixed with it’s strange characters and world. Not saying every Zelda game should be like it, but I at least wish _some_ other game would try to hit the same vibe.
At least Ooccoo was a great item; you could drop her down, leave the dungeon, save and go right back to where you left her. It was effectively the best way to save your progress in the dungeons.
You know what’s even more bizarre? In German this thing is called “Tante”. Which means aunt.
No idea why.

Its boobs always made me feel a bit unsettled.
Best Zelda game
Appropriate facial expression.

Link’s face says it all.
This game also had sumo wrestling with Gorons, leaf surfing down snowy mountains, and you could turn into a wolf. Best Zelda game imo
I mean twilight princess was made dark and weird bc of such a initial big backlash from wind waker being so cartoony
There was that city in the sky dungeon that was full of those things. That shit creeped me out.
it’s even weirder in german, because her name in German (translated to english) is “Aunt”
I really wish this game was on the switch.
Twighlight princess was the best Zelda game change my mind
Nightmare fuel
One of my favorite games of all time! Oh what I would do to play it again!
This game is probably my favorite Zelda game, I love the aesthetic so much.

Twilight Princess had such a weird, unhinged aesthetic even for Zelda games and I love it for that.
Some developer at Nintendo: *Ok, but what if Farore’s Wind was a chicken?* 🤔
Just wait till you get to the sky temple. It’s full of these things!
I didn’t remember it being so polygon-y as this picture
We need a switch port of this game so bad
Fun fact: the name “Ooccoo” is a reference to link’s tunic color in the original LOZ on the NES. To be precise, the HEX color #00CC00.
Great game. I like it more than the Switch games
It’s apparently based on this painting by M. C. Escher.

It’s weird stuff like this that got lost in the modern gaming industry. Just not a care in the world, just “I had this idea”.

There’s a Zelda game that had a character who lives in a toilet or something like that. He’s shown as just a hand if I remember correctly
Best zelda.
Gamecube version, fuck the wii version.
Such a good game
Unnerved the shit out of me when I saw the trophy for this thing in Brawl as a kid.
In my opinion from the GameCube/Wii/Wiiu era, Twilight Princess was the best one. Skyward Sword gets second place. I wouldn’t mind a re-release in the Switch like Skyward Sword got.
Still the best Zelda game
Agatha is still the best waifu. Don’t @ me
Thanks, now I have to forget this horrible thing exists again.
Still the best Zelda game
There was a time when most videogames were brown. Why?
I really want to play this again on Switch

The Zelda with the best art style
Wish this vibes had an open world
Those are especially bizarre and unnecessary for the most part and that’s why their great.
My favorite LOZ game, loved the darker theme. As dark as it could be anyways lol
As weird as it is, TP is without doubt my favourite zelda game.
Fun fact: The name Ooccoo is the color code #00CC00, which was used for Link’s green color in the original NES title The Legend of Zelda.
Fun fact: Ooccoo (or rather #00cc00) is also the hex code of the green colour of Links tunic.
It was such a good Zelda, as much as I love BoTW and TotK would love another one like Twilight Princess
