I do pen and watercolor sketches each day while traveling. Here’s a quick sketch of Washington D.C.

Great work, missing the corruption and greed. Like the optimistic colors.
That’s excellent. You should try try doing the outline lightly in pencil and doing the picture completely in watercolor rather than using the ink outlines for a few pics to see how they come out. Post them here I’d like to see them
Great job.
I like it!👍
I just don’t get these political cartoons, man
Not enough protests
It reminds me of various children book illustrations and I mean that as a compliment. Can’t recall which. I like it. Keep at it
Amazing!
Any chance you sell your pieces? I’m from DC (now Florida) and have been let down recently by an Etsy purchase.
Hope youre enjoying the district!
Where are all the crackheads?
Aww I love the national mall. great work.
I love this style of watercolor. It’s just so soothing to me. It reminds me of old childrens books with great art. Great stuff
This is really lovely.
Random questions: how did you learn to do sketches like this? Are you self taught or did you take classes? How long have you been drawing?
I love this. We rode Lime scooters down that same walkway in March!! Beautiful
Ooh, I love pen and watercolour, it’s one of my favourite combinations. This is fantastic work, I could definitely see it as some sort of book illustration. Great colors, it looks like a very pleasant scene.
So nice. I grew up an hour from there and spent so much time walking around the mall. Brings back good memories
having lived there most my life i can already tell it’s facing west, slightly south. thanks for the trip down memory lane
