I actually enjoy this for working out, but as a man, yeah, I’d never wear this in public. Before getting all judgey, American Football pants are basically just tights with thigh pads. Underneath those bulky shoulder pads is also likely some kind of spandex, sorry, the manly way to say it would be Under Armor. So yeah, it ain’t so bad and it’s all over the place.
The main reason, yoga. I don’t like my shirt falling into my face and it’s just easier to move legs around if there isn’t a blanket of material in the way.
As a guy I would love to wear my leggings in public, they are insanely comfortable and as a dancer they are a blessing. They don’t limit my movement, they dispel heat, they don’t pinch. The ONLY problem with my leggings is it REALLY shows my bulge(hey gotta let people know I’m hung somehow(that’s just a way to think about it so I don’t cry about it)), which is fine in a dance environment! But in public I’d get sued for indecent exposure. (They also show how absolutely flat my butt is so that’s not great:/ )
