Gunplay feels good, story rather generic/ boring and ai even on “hard” mode dumb as a loaf. Aditionally some things like the soul supremo “idk the name” feel way overpowered eg: you can clear an entire outpost within few seconds
by shooting through walls, without any chance of beeing detected and within short time you will have the ability back
Edit: alternativly with one or two fitting cloth pieces you can just clear the outpost by running at ai and mele killing them (funny once or twice but looses fun quick)
I thought it was a lot of fun, and it’s on my list to replay. I really disliked FarCry 5 because religious rednecks on drugs really hit too close to home, living in the US. This one had a pretty genuine motive for the plot. Sure it’s a very similar format to most the other games, but you get what you want if you enjoy the FarCry model.
Unpopular opinion but I actually enjoyed it, it’s my favorite modern Far Cry experience. Still no Far Cry 3 but better than 5 and New Dawn, and arguably 4. Pagan Min was great but the Golden Path or whatever they were called and Ajay himself were boring.
It suffers from the typical Ubisoft bloat but it’s good to have a voiced protagonist back and the story is alright. Gameplay is nothing special, Far Cry hasn’t changed that up much over the years, but I still enjoy sneaking around trying not to alert camps just as much as ever.
I have not played Far Cry Primal to compare it to that.
Turns out the crazy guy from 3 is alive somewhere and I think they brought self healing by pulling chunks of glass or bullets out of your arm. So better than 5 but not as good as 3 or 4.
Very uninteresting. First farcry I didn’t play all the way through. At the end of the tutorial the lady said I could take the boat to Miami if I wanted to so that’s what I did. I technically beat the game.
As aposed to a film experience, or eating experience? Personally I really enjoyed it as an existential crisis experience but never played it so can’t comment on the gaming experience aspect
4/10. I am that guy, that loves clearing the map full, even all collectibles, but this is too draining even for me. And the shooting was rpg-styled, just like in new dawn, so big no.
Unnecessarily big and kinda dull to be honest…
Fun but extremely bloated.

It was the first Far Cry I never even finished.

Meh the same game basically since Fc3
Ubisoft/10
One of the weaker entries in the Far Cry series, though that isn’t saying much. It peaked at 3, in my opinion.
Below average, but not bad.
If it was on like gamepass or something it would be worth playing, but I wouldn’t spend double digits on it.

Tedious and boring.

Far cry 5, but with a 6 at the end instead of a 5
Soulless mess
So much customization, only for me to use a silenced desert eagle with AP rounds.
Favourite Far Cry will always be Primal.
Boomer is back
5/10 the gear system sucked
Big waste of time playing this shit
Played it during the free weekend and felt ripped off
I enjoyed it to a degree.
10/10 because of Moff Gus Edgar
It’s another Far Cry game/10
Easy Platinum
Not as good as 4
a Far Cry 6.
Out of 100.
Free weekend, played only 3-4 hours or so. The beginning was dramatic, but a bit too short to really grab me.
3, 4, and 5 were better. It was fun for a bit, but got boring fast
I really enjoyed it. I love the whole series though.
Boring, story was good but the gameplay was badly constructed.
As soon as i ended it never played it again. Did liked the after ending mechanics a bit.
No good. Definitely far downhill compared to 4 and 5.
