Watching this video made me realize that the sound of a helicopter is used so often in “plane crash” scenes in movies. A good example is the movie Flight with Denzel, the plane going down sounds just like this heli starting up.

I’d like to recommend the book Chickenhawk which is all about the experiences of a Huey pilot in ‘Nam, it’s an incredible read.
I rode in one of these beasts in 1975, it delivered me to the deck of a Navy ship. Both awesome and scary at the same time
