Good, smokey, and cheap. Love the stuff.
We go through Tapatio like water in my house. I’m pretty sure the kids used to drink it when I wasn’t looking. My wife carries around a bottle in her purse. We have a Tapatio problem.

It’s the perfect hot sauce if you want a splash of vinegar with just enough heat to be able to legally claim “this is hot sauce!”
If you actually want, y’know, *hot* sauce, this belongs in the bin alongside Tabasco, Frank’s Red Hot, and Cholula. They’re all to hot sauce what “Hostess Cakes” are to pastries.
I’m only aware of this due to Bobby Lee’s pronunciation.
Poor man’s Cholula
Nationwide “favorite”. I am pretty sure I only see this stuff at Mexican restaurants in the mid-west where you use it because there is no other option. I have never enjoyed this stuff and I have never seen anyone have it in their home.
I discovered my love for Tapatio back in 2011 when Ruffles made a Tapatio flavored chips. Now Tapatio goes on nearly everything I eat, except ice cream because that’s pretty gross.
