I always just assumed he got John Hammond to clone him
Cause the man is a living genius that’s why
He did the same thing a few years later with “Amistad” & “Lost World” in 1997.
True, those 2 films don’t reach the height of Schindler’s List & Jurassic Park, but they are still two very solid films (and I think over time I appreciate the Lost World more).
Its amazing how he did it, physically and emotionally. From what I read, he was given an ultimatum to shoot Jurassic Park first, but he knew he needed specific conditions to shoot parts of Schindlers List in the Polish winter in January. So there would be some overlap in shooting, then as Schindler continued to shoot, he would help edit JP at the same time and approve VFX shots. He was so angry that he was forced to do it like this, as he carried the emotionality of Schindlers subject matter into JP’s post production.
Its not the first time hes done something similar. Hes known to have project overlap, so he can move from one project to the next, fairly quickly.
